Social play is basically two people up to a large group of people
getting together to play the game but not in a scheduled league or
tournament competition. The
social group is split into 2 teams per court (1 to 4 players per team).
There is no specific set of standard rules for social play since there
are no officials or captains to enforce the rules. Lexington Country
Club social bocce players use the applicable Lexington Country Club
League Play rules so that they become familiar with the way the sport
should be played.
